Private Mail Assistant: Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026 · Home

Private Mail Assistant is a personal tool used by a single person, its owner, to sort email in their own Gmail account. This policy describes exactly what the assistant does with Google user data.

Data we access

Through the Gmail API, the assistant accesses the owner's email messages, their metadata (such as sender, recipients, subject, date and labels) and attachments. It requests these Google API scopes:

How we use the data

The data is used only to sort new incoming email and to send the owner private notifications and summaries about it. Drafts are left in Gmail for the owner to review. The assistant never sends email on the user's behalf. The data is not used for advertising, profiling or any purpose unrelated to these features.

How we store and protect the data

The assistant runs on a private server controlled by the owner. Access credentials are stored in files readable only by the assistant's account. All data in transit to and from Google, the AI model provider and Telegram is encrypted using TLS.

How we share the data

Google user data is shared only with these service providers, and only to provide the features described above:

The data is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone else.

How long we keep the data

The working copy of message text is deleted no later than 14 days after processing. Short summaries and processing status (for example, which messages were already handled) are kept longer so the assistant does not process the same message twice. Server backups may contain this data until they are overwritten by newer backups.

How to revoke access and delete data

You can revoke the assistant's access to your Google account at any time in your Google Account settings under third-party connections. To request deletion of locally stored data, email novaktomas111@gmail.com. Locally stored data will be deleted, and backups will be deleted or overwritten.

Limited Use

Private Mail Assistant's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data obtained through Google APIs is not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
