Private Mail Assistant
What it does
Private Mail Assistant sorts new email in its owner's Gmail inbox and sends the owner short private notifications about messages that need attention. It can archive or label sorted messages and prepare reply drafts that the owner reviews and sends personally. It never sends email on the user's behalf.
Why it needs access to Gmail
To sort and summarize new messages, the assistant has to read them, including their metadata and attachments, through the Gmail API. Access to modify messages is used only to archive and label them, and access to compose is used only to create drafts.
Who it is for
This is a private tool built and used by a single person for their own mailbox. It is not offered to the public, has no sign-up and no other users.
